I'll be chronically exhausted every Friday from the 4th of May onwards. I have been assigned to Canturbury Hospital for clinical practice in the morning shift. I went there with Sylvia today to check out the place and methods to get there - apparently bus is easiest. My friends tell me that bum wiping, showering and cleaning up is among the few things that we are expected to do, and I can't help but feel nervous... because I have not been properly trained in any of those things. (well not doing it for other people)
I want to give my thanks to:
1) Greg who drove me around the Campsie area and gave me a great tour guide
2) Sylvia who went on the exploration with me today
3) Rufina for checking out train lines and etc
4) My mum who was researching all possible ways to get there.
I'll have to get up at 6am every Friday onwards!

Refreshed
I handed in one out of the three essay tasks assigned today. It felt relieving because I managed to complete one of the hardest assignments ever handed down to me. Who would have guessed that doing Masters is so much harder than undergraduate?
I haven't been out of home much lately except for university obligations. Today was no exception, but since I was out in the city to hand in my essay , I felt I might as well take the opportunity to catch up with old friends.
I chose Powers to meet because I knew she was free on Mondays. It was surprisingly refreshing catching up with her while eating lunch at my favorite spot. I also got to meet one of her friends, and she was really friendly. I feel that after undertaking the postgraduate course, I am becoming more and more socially disconnected! I felt awkward introducing myself to new faces and my socializing skills seemed to have dumbed down. However, I had a really great time with them, I feel more alive now.
I think I need to start maintaining a good balance between social life and academic life.
Anyway, I better catch up on some sleep and start on the other two essays.

My Angel
Bad Sleep. Lots of essays due. Difficult work.
Stormy day. Dark day. Shitty day
HOMEWORK NEVER ENDING. BUILDUP OF STRESS AND MISERY.
JACKY MOODY. JACKY PISSED. JACKY MAD.
knock. knock. knock. KNOCK.
WHO THE HELL IS KNOCKING ON MY DOOR NOW?
Door swings open and a face with a radiating smile shines upon me.
Hugging me tightly, my worries fade away. My troubles quelled.
The sun's rays beam into my room, creating a fresh atmosphere.
Sweet air rejuvenates my body, quenching my thirst for hope.
and for the first time of the day, I smiled.
